Routers / Access Points

Routers and access points are wireless devices used instead of a LAN cable to connect multiple devices equipped with a wireless LAN function, such as computers or tablets. A router is a relay device that enables network communication, which connects the Internet line to multiple devices to enable simultaneous access. The function of an access point is to convert signals between wireless LAN and wired LAN to enable the devices connected to the wireless LAN to be used. Installing multiple access points within an office delivers stable operation and enables more devices to be connected simultaneously. Unauthorized access to wireless LAN is easy when the network is within the range of radio waves. Therefore, when installing the products, be sure to configure the supplied security settings and perform the individual user authentication.
