Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: Does the gear coupling need lubrication?
Answer: As the gear coupling is also a gear, it requires lubrication with grease, etc. If unlubricated, it is more likely to suffer wear.
Question: Is it possible to use a combination of internal gears and spur gears with the same number of teeth?
Answer: Inner gears and spur gears with the same number of teeth can be combined for use as gear couplings.
However, please note that standard products other than GC gear couplings do not support backlash due to displacement between shafts and do not offer crowning.
