The dimensional accuracy, shape accuracy and rotational accuracy of solid needle roller bearings are specified in JIS B 1514 (Accuracy of Roller Bearings).
Products with precision class JIS0 are manufactured as standard, however, products with class JIS6, 5, and 4 are also available for applications that require higher rotational accuracy.
The dimensional tolerance of the roller inscribed circle diameter (Fw) of the no-inner race NK, RNA, NKS, and MR types falls within the ISO tolerance class F6. For reference when selecting the shaft diameter dimensions and radial clearance.
The solid needle roller bearing has the structure in which the needle rollers and retainer are assembled to the solid (machined) outer race, and the outer race and needle rollers are kept together by the flange or side walls on both sides of the outer race. The solid (machined) outer race ensures
high rigidity and can increase the bearing accuracy, therefore, it is ideal for applications that require high speed, high load, and high rotational accuracy.
In addition to the type with inner race, the type without inner race is also available in which the shaft can be used directly as a raceway instead of inner race.
The allowable rotational speed is the rotational speed that is allowed to achieve under the following conditions. For the allowable rotational speed under usage conditions that are different from the following, please refer to the "Precision Roller Bearing Catalog" or contact the manufacturer.
·Use under conditions where an appropriate amount of grease recommended by NTN is sealed, a sufficient break-in operation is performed, and generated heat is eliminated by such as cooling the outer housing.
